Oh, You've Gotta Be Kidding Me

So, apparently, I think it's just okay to stop blogging for 4 months. Epic fail, me.

Our little tiny 4 month old baby is no longer tiny. Or little. Or 4 months old. At 8 months she weighs 21 pounds, is 27 inches tall and she has 5 teeth. She got the first two(on the bottom) at around 5 1/2 months, and they were followed by the right front tooth, and both incisors....crazy! I have never seen a baby with three teeth on top, but only one is in front. She's still the most beautiful thing I've ever seen! She is the sassiest little thing, too. She's just entered the phase where she believes it is acceptable to cry when mommy take cool things(like her toothbrush) away from her. I've heard that this phase will last until she's about 16.

She also has this grinch smile that she does when she knows she's not supposed to do something, but she just can't help herself. Example: when Gramma tells her to be gentle while she examines her earings, Bella says,

"I have to pull them out!"
Her favorite food is sweet potatoes. When she is full, she likes to let me know by either slapping the spoon so the food goes everywhere, or taking a bite and then spitting that bite onto my glasses. She thinks that both options are pretty hilarious, and I actually do too! It's hard to hold a grudge when it's your baby. Also, I love sweet potatoes, so no harm done.

Bell became mobile this past month. Shortly after teaching herself to crawl in a matter of days, she decided that she can also pull herself to standing upon reaching her destination. She is absolutely fearless, so I think she will probably walk in the near future.

Introducing.......

Happy birthday to the newest edition to the family! My brother and his wife Kala welcomed their first baby, Maxwell Spencer Fulton, into the world this morning at around 5:30. He was a whopping 8 pounds 6 ounces and 20 inches long! What a big boy! Kala did amazing, and birthed their son naturally, the good ol' fashioned way! I think I speak for the whole clan when I say that we are so so so so so proud of Spence and Kala, and we look forward to seeing how their family develops in the future!

Also, a very happy birthday to nieces Eva Rose and Olivia Faye! They celebrated their 2nd birthday today, and we love them to pieces!

Here are some pictures of the new arrival!

Peace and Joy!

Belated Photos!

So I may or may not have promised my mother new pictures of Bella last night and then didn't deliver. My bad! I took one of these videos right after we got off the phone with each other this morning. Bella has started to reach for her toys! (well, more like flailing wildly at them...) I'm so proud of our beautiful girl. She is growing so quickly; it is hard to remember what she was like when she was itty bitty. I'm positive she weighs at least 16 pounds now, and she just turned 4 months....that's my girl!

We love you Gramma!

A tired tired Bella.

Family Outing

There is a kick ass trail going through the woods next to Spencer and Kala's apartment. We went on another long walk on it yesterday and we were able to get some really awesome pictures. We got some nice pictures of the three of us which was nice because we hadn't take any yet.

We are attempting to coax Max out. Sooner rather than later, kid. We are starting to think that he may be hanging out until it is closer to the date we leave...which is not okay. Everyone send your welcoming energies to him!

Oh is for Oregon

My brother and his lovely wife are expecting their first little baby: Maxwell Spencer Fulton. Dave, B, and I flew to Oregon to be help them during the first few weeks of baby Max's life outside of the womb. :) He should be here any day now and we cannot wait to meet him!

This is the longest that Bella has been away from Gramma. For the remainder of our trip, I will be putting up pictures and videos so that she can still see baby B. She has already grown so much, and we hope that this will keep Gramma in the loop :)

So! The first installment of our video/photo extravaganza can be found below. :)

Bella thinks that her daddy's Asian accent is very funny. :)

Bella says, "HI GRAMMA!"
